To support the increased demand for NOx emissions control which is federally regulated under the Multi-Sector Air Pollutant Regulations (MSAPR), Signet is pleased to announce a full suite of new catalyst services including:

With the changing MSAPR regulations in 2026, NOx emission limits will be applied to all natural gas spark-ignition engines. Approximately 50% of these engines are rich-burn and consequently emit high levels of NOx emissions. Signet’s new services allow for the purchase of catalysts to control NOx emissions, and cleaning services to rejuvenate the catalyst element and extend their lifecycle.
Non-intrusive Cleaning
Our chemical cleaning is a non-intrusive process ensuring no damage to the catalyst element, reducing the overall cost of maintaining a catalyst element system. Once the catalyst element has reached the end of its life, it will be sent off for precious metals recovery that will be credited to the customer, and environmentally friendly disposal of the core element.

As the leading provider of stack emissions testing in Western Canada, Signet is well-positioned to support this initiative with technical support for catalyst and engine problem diagnosis.
Lifecycle Support
In addition to the catalyst sales and cleaning services, Signet maintains a database of catalyst elements to track the element through its lifecycle of cleaning and testing. This enables customers to better understand the catalyst element efficiency, predict and optimize future requirements, minimize engine downtime, and ensure compliance while minimizing consumable costs.
