Vibration Analysis
Signet provides vibration analysis for rotating equipment, piping and structures to prevent component failures or diagnose the cause of previous failures. As part of Signet’s condition-monitoring service, regular vibration surveys can predict the onset of component failure for planned maintenance.
Our Standard Baseline Vibration Testing programs identify machine failure relating to:
- Visual inspection for loose, missing or defective components.
- Vibration analysis including foundation, skid, driver, compressor, piping, vessels, valves, and other potential problem areas. (Vibration levels would be compared to industry standard or previously agreed to guidelines.)
- Orifice plate sizing review and recommendations if pulsation is evident.
- Operating parameters, ultrasonic leak detection and infrared temperatures to correlate with vibration.
